Center-invest Bank increased the capital of the Education and Science of the Southern Federal District Endowment Fund by 100 million roubles to develop the scientific and educational potential of the region.

The income from the increase of the endowment by the new contribution will be used to pay scholarships to gifted students of higher and secondary specialised educational institutions in the south of Russia, including students demonstrating achievements in the field of information technology, taking additional training in social management in Cossack societies.

The Education and Science of the Southern Federal District Fund, was created in 2007 by Center-invest Bank and private donators. Today it is the largest endowment fund in the southern Russia.

Every year Center-invest Bank and the Education and Science of the Southern Federal District Fund award scholarships and grants, totalling over 12.5 million roubles. Over 35,000 students from 22 leading higher education institutes of the Krasnodar Territory, Rostov and Volgograd Regions, Nizhny Novgorod, Astrakhan, and the Republic of Adygea took part in the Fund competitions.

For over 30 years, Center-invest Bank has been successfully implementing social and educational projects aimed at developing the current and future generations, and has been supporting programmes to develop youth initiatives and to improve the quality of education in Russia.
