On July 14-15, 2004 meetings of the OJSC “CB Center-Invest” management with the representatives of Credit establishment for reconstruction (DEG – Deutsche Investitions and Entwicklungsge-selleschaft mbH) and German organization for the investments and development were held. Within the framework of meetings the nego-tiation on opening of long-term credit lines for the small and av-erage enterprise of the South of Russia has passed.

In a course of visit the representatives of German financial organizations have familiarized with the "CB Center-Invest"‘s technologies of cooperation with small business and have visited the enterprises of the Bank’s clients.

The German delegation was accepted by the deputy Minister, head of small business development and interregional communica-tions department, vice-president of The Council on small business at Administration of the Rostov Region, Mrs. Palagina A.N. During the meeting, held in Administration, both sides had an opportunity to discuss a lot of problems, linked to the small-business devel-opment in details. Among the most burning are: the market-focused character of regional and local programs for small business devel-opment; the experience of interaction between the regional Admini-stration and banks; support rendered for the development of small business infrastructure; participation of banks in different kind of seminars, exhibitions, hot lines; development of the Internet – technologies in the region and the expansion of international co-operation between small and average enterprises.
