On 9 February 2024, a new all-Russian contest in the field of information technology Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development Goals with a prize fund of 3 million roubles was launched. The contest was organised by Center-invest Bank.

The contest is aimed at supporting young people’s initiatives in using artificial intelligence to analyse the indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals of the Rostov Region, assess the prospects and implement new solutions for the integrated development of the region.

Сo-organisers of the contest are:

• Southern Federal University;
• Rostov State University of Economics (RINKh);
• Don State Technical University;
• M. I. Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI);
• Rostov State Transport University;
• Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

The contest is open to students, master’s program and graduate students, researchers and associates from Russian and international universities between 18 and 35 years of age.

To participate, one has to prepare a project and fill out an application on the contest website by 1 May 2024.
