Center-invest Bank has presented its results for 2019, calculated in accordance with IFRS. The bank demonstrated high-quality growth for its key performance indicators. Its results confirm the effectiveness of its ESG — banking business model, which is the main trend in global financial markets.

On 10 March 2020 Center-invest Bank introduced a new "Green" deposit account, the only one of its kind in Russia. The deposit provides a 4.6% annual return.

The Executive Board announced Center-invest Bank’s results for 2019 at a press conference held on 5 February. The bank’s main development trends were: affordable lending for retail customers and small business, the digitalisation of banking products, acceleration of a new generation of entrepreneurs, and responsible investment in energy efficiency projects.

On 18-22 November 2019 a series of business events was held in Frankfurt as part of the 22nd Euro Finance Week: The Future of Finance and Banking. Center-invest Bank participated in the FAROS institutional investors forum on green finance and in the 29th European Banking Congress.

On 12 November 2019 the Moscow Exchange included RUB250m of Center-invest Bank bonds in the green bonds segment of its Sustainable Development Sector. This is the first issue of green bank bonds in Russia. Center-invest Bank’s green bonds are due to be available from 15 November.

Center-invest Bank has become an official Signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Banking — a single framework for a sustainable banking industry developed through an innovative partnership between banks worldwide and United Nations Environment’s Finance Initiative.

Center-invest Bank hosted an ESG foresight session, attended by representatives of investment funds, audit and consulting firms, development institutions, the Russian Central Bank, the Moscow Exchange and banking associations, as well as shareholders, employees and customers of the bank.

Since the start of 2019, Center-invest Bank has made 2726 loans to small businesses, for a total of RUB16.6bn. Over a third of these loans have been made under government-subsidised programmes. These results were presented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank, Dr Vasily Vysokov, at the XVII International Banking Forum "Banks of Russia — XXI Century" held in Sochi.
