THE GERMAN CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS ARE READY TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSI-NESS OF THE SOUTH OF RUSSIA
On July 14-15, 2004 meetings of the OJSC “CB Center-Invest” management with the representatives of Credit establishment for reconstruction (DEG – Deutsche Investitions and Entwicklungsge-selleschaft mbH) and German organization for the investments and development were held. Within the framework of meetings the nego-tiation on opening of long-term credit lines for the small and av-erage enterprise of the South of Russia has passed.

In the framework of the mutual educational project, organized by the Center-invest bank and the Rostov Regional Museum, over 4000 high school students from Rostov-on-Don, Zernograd, Zverevo, Bataysk, Matveev-Kurgan, Belaya Kalitva and Konstantinovsk region could attend an exposition "The Treasures of the Don's Stepps".

THE EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT BECOMES THE SHAREHOLDER OF THE OJSC “CB CENTER-INVEST”
The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved the purchase of a package of shares of the OJSC “CB Center-Invest” by the repayment of its additional issue for the sum up to $8 millions. It was also decided to open the long term $5 million support-line for small and average busi-ness crediting for the “CB Center-Invest” for the period of 5 years.

THE OJSC “CB CENTER-INVEST” HAS EXPANDED ITS COOPERATION WITH EUROPEAN BANKS
Within the framework of the trade financing program another two foreign banks – BCP Bank (Geneva, Switzerland) and SanPaolo IMI SPA (Italy) have opened a line on acknowledgement of guaran-tees and letters of credit for the OJSC “CB Center-Invest”.

"Center-invest" Bank lightens access to American equipment for south Russia small enterprises.
On 17, November, in Moscow, there was held a meeting between President of Export-import Bank of USA Phillip Merrill and s group of russian bankers. The Chairman of Directors Board of "Center-invest" Bank, D. Sc. in economics, professor V. Vysokov, has taken part in it. In his speech professor Vysokov reminded that cooperation between Ex-Im Bank of USA and "Center-invest" Bank has begun in 1997. He paid American side attention to necessity of widening operations with regional banks, first of all with in South of Russia, for crediting purchases of equipment for small and medium enterprises.
