Based on an annual survey of the contact centres of Russian banks, Center-invest Bank has leading positions for service levels using digital channels and instant messaging apps.

The 2021 FINOPOLIS Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies will be held online. This format will allow Center-invest Bank to share its experience of the agile digitalisation of ESG banking with a wider audience.

Center-invest Bank, together with the international banking community, celebrates the Banking on Values Day. It is an initiative by the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) to call for structural change to address the climate emergency and to claim for a more sustainable and inclusive financial system in the world.

Center-invest Bank summed up the results of the competition “Sustainable Development Goals and me” and awarded 19 winners who presented the best local solutions to global problems in accordance with the SDGs. The award ceremony was held online, the participants of the competition were congratulated by the President of Center-invest Bank, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vasily Vysokov.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-Invest Bank, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vasily Vysokov presented a unique methodology for ESG reporting in the metrics of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the book "Agile Digitalization of ESG Banking" at the annual European Chamber Meeting of GABV members, which was held on October 21-22, 2021 in Brussels.

The Association of Banks of Russia together with the United Nations Environment Program Financial Initiative (UNEP FI) held a webinar “Principles of Responsible Banking in Russia”. Center-invest Bank, a member of the Association of Russian Banks and signatory of the Principles for Responsible Banking, acted as the headliner of the event, presenting the experience of ESG banking in Russia.

UNEP FI published a report entitled ‘Responsible Banking: Building Foundations’. The successful experience of Center-invest Bank was included in the collection of the world's best solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and implement the Paris Climate Agreement.

The author is Vasily Vysokov, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank,Head of the ESG Banking Project Group of the Association of Russian Banks.
