On August 31, 2004 an official subscription of the Agreement between the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the OJSC “CB Center-invest” took place in the Directors Club of the Center-Invest bank.

On August 5, 2004 the Board of Directors of the OJSC CB «Cen-ter–Invest» has accepted the Strategy for the 2004-2008 years and approved the results, achieved during the past months of the cur-rent year of 2004. The OJSC CB «Center–Invest»’s profit for Janu-ary - July 2004 has exceeded the 100 million rubles mark (compared to 130 million rubles of profit for the whole year of 2003).

The delegation from the Italian company ENOGLAS has visited Rostov-on-Don within the framework of the pilot project, aimed on creation of the joined ventures between the Rostov region and It-aly. This project was organized by the OJSC CB "Center–Invest" and the state corporation of the Ministry of production activity of Italy SIMEST.

The Central Bank of Russian Federation and the Federal Antimo-nopoly Service have granted the permission to the OJSC CB "Center-Invest" for increase in authorized capital stock on the EBRD 's funds (25,23% in share capital).

More than 2373 juridical person accounts were open in OJSC "CB Center-Invest” since the beginning of the current year of 2004. It should be noticed, that the inflow of new clients during this pe-riod has beaten the result of the whole year of 2003. The overall amount of juridical person accounts, open in “CB Center-Invest”, has reached 14.5 thousand by July 1, 2004.
