In the first 10 months of 2020 Center-invest Bank made 856 loans for a total of RUB6.6bn under a Russian Ministry of Agriculture preferential loan programme. This was a 10% increase on the same period of last year.

The Bank of Russia has noted Center-invest Bank’s contribution to financial education and has thanked Dr Vasily Vysokov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, for supporting the work of the Russian Financial Literacy Association.

Center-invest Bank received the country’s first order from the Marketplace platform and opened Russia’s first remote deposit account.

On 6 November 2020, Center-invest Bank participated in a webinar "Green Finance: Global Trends, International Standards and Prospects for Russia". This event was held by the British Embassy in Russia as part of preparations for the 26^th UN Climate Change Conference. Center-invest Bank presented its ESG achievements, its experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, and its contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Center-invest Bank presented its unique experience of responsible finance at the Sustainable Investment Forum organised by the United Nations’ Climate Action programme. Lidia Simonova, Chairman of Center-invest Bank’s Executive Board, was the only Russian speaker at the international forum.

The Treasures of the Don Steppes exhibition has reopened at the recently renovated Rostov Region Local Studies Museum. Center-invest Bank has been a partner of this exhibition since 2004.

"ESG banking: made in Russia" is the first published in Russia scientific and practical manual on the bank’s work based on the ESG principles. The author is Vasily Vysokov, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-Invest Bank.

Center-invest Bank has installed solar panels on the roof of its head office. The electricity generated will be used to power the bank’s exterior night lighting and also to increase the number of terminals in the bank’s self-service zone.
