On 24 November 2014 Center-invest Bank received RUB400m as the second tranche of a three-year RUB800m loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The funds will be used to finance SME projects in southern Russia.

EURO FINANCE WEEK takes place in Frankfurt every November. It provides an opportunity for financial market participants to present their achievements, plans and forecasts and also discuss the challenges and prospects for the sector’s development.

On 17 November 2014 the Bank of Russia published its latest list of credit institutions that are authorised to guarantee Bank of Russia loans. Center-invest Bank is among the 75 banks on the list.

Center-invest Bank ranks among the top ten Russian banks by value of lending to small enterprises and sole traders, and in 12^th place for lending to medium-sized enterprises.

The annual “47 Hours” hackathon for youth IT start-up projects was held in Rostov-on-Don from 7^th — 9^th November. Center-invest Bank was a strategic partner for the event.

Center-invest Bank has been included in the Bank of Russia’s list of credit institutions that are permitted to service the accounts of strategically important companies. The list complies with Federal Law No. 213-FZ dated 21 July 2014, which states that only credit institutions with equity (capital) of at least RUB5bn as at 1 January of the current year, and / or banks under the direct or indirect control of the Bank of Russia or the Russian Federation, may service strategically important companies (http://www.cbr.ru/credit/Perechen_213-FZ.pdf).

On 23 October, Center-invest Bank lent its support to the Banking On Values global project, which unites 25 financial institutions, serving over 20 million customers and employing 30,000 people.

More than 300 new entrepreneurs in southern Russia have set up businesses together with Center-invest Bank. The bank has provided start-ups with more than RUB350m in finance.
