Dr Vasily Vysokov, chairman of Center-invest Bank’s Board of Directors, has taken up post as a public advisor to the head of the Rostov Administration, Sergei Gorban. Dr Vysokov will be advising Mr Gorban on key aspects of the socio-economic, civic and political life of Rostov-on-Don. He will also help the head of the administration to identify effective policy solutions and assist with their implementation.

In 2014 Center-invest Bank’s loan portfolio increased by RUB11.5bn (+17.8%) to RUB76bn. The stable growth in lending can be attributed to record low interest rates and the bank’s long-term sustainable development strategy, comprehensive support for entrepreneurs, and customer advice.

On 18 December 2014, an award ceremony was held in the Rostov Region Philharmonic Hall for winners of the annual scholarship competition run by Center-invest Bank and the Endowment Fund for Science and Education in the Southern Federal District.

In the first half of December 2014 Center-invest Bank issued RUB5.5bn in new loans to business and retail customers in southern Russia. Center-invest Bank has received a Public Recognition Award from the Krasnodar Krai Public Chamber for its contribution to increasing civic engagement and to the social and economic wellbeing of Krasnodar Krai.

The third International Forum of Youth Enterprise Leaders was held in Rostov-on-Don on 4 December 2014. Center-invest Bank was a co-organiser of the event and its main sponsor.

Center-invest Bank was a partner and sponsor for the Southern Russia Social Investment competition held by the regional business magazine Ekspert-Yug.
