Russia’s first Positive Economy Forum will be held on 16 June 2015 in Rostov-on-Don. The event is being organised by Center-invest Bank together with PlaNet Finance (France). The main venue will be the Vertol-Ekspo exhibition centre. The event has the support of the Office of the Russian Presidential Plenipotentiary and the Governor of the Rostov Region.

Center-invest Bank’s BO-02 series bonds have matured. The bank has redeemed and paid the coupon on these bonds, which had been trading since 2012.

According to a study conducted by the portal banki.ru, Center-invest Bank bucked the trend in lending to individual entrepreneurs in 1Q 2015.

The latest “47 Hours” hackathon for youth IT start-up projects took place recently in Rostov-on-Don. Center-invest Bank continues to be a partner for this event. Representatives of the bank held masterclasses for the young programmers.

The Banki.ru portal (www.banki.ru) has published a ranking of Russia’s mortgage lenders (banks) in 2014. Center-invest Bank ranks 4^th for the number of mortgages issued in Russian regions (excl. Moscow and Moscow region), 20^th for the total number of mortgages issued, and 23^rd for its mortgage portfolio.

The Financial Literacy Centre in Rostov-on-Don marked its first anniversary last month. The facility was set up by Center-invest Bank and the Southern Federal University in April 2014. In the past year it has improved the financial literacy of more than 5,000 Rostov residents.

Center-invest Bank was one of the judges for the regional stage of the national Enactus competition. Enactus is an international programme to encourage and support entrepreneurial student projects. With its experience of working with young people and start-up projects, Center-invest Bank was well placed to help select the competition winners.

Earlier this month experts from Center-invest Bank held master classes on corporate social responsibility and staff training and motivation for students at Kuban State Agrarian University and Kuban State Technological University.
