On 17, November, in Moscow, there was held a meeting between President of Export-import Bank of USA Phillip Merrill and s group of russian bankers. The Chairman of Directors Board of "Center-invest" Bank, D. Sc. in economics, professor V. Vysokov, has taken part in it. In his speech professor Vysokov reminded that cooperation between Ex-Im Bank of USA and "Center-invest" Bank has begun in 1997. He paid American side attention to necessity of widening operations with regional banks, first of all with in South of Russia, for crediting purchases of equipment for small and medium enterprises.

President of Export-import Bank of USA Phillip Merrill and specialists accompany him have confirmed their readiness for work with "Center-invest" Bank in a field of guarantees for long-term transactions, insurance for export credits, guarantees for commercial credits and structuring of project financing not only in traditional sectors, but also in work for realization small and medium business projects. Ex-Im Bank is ready to begin concrete transactions without signing any framework agreements.

"Center-invest" Bank has experience in work with EBRD, IFC, Hermes, SIMEST. That talks provides an access to long-term and inexpensive resources (till 3-5 years, 9-12% yearly in currency) for enterprises of Don and Kuban during purchasing equipment of not only European but also American producers.
