February, 15 Minister of economic development and trade German Gref together with the governor of the Rostov region Vladimir Chub has visited the informational — educational complex «Center- Internet».

Gref was familiarized with the Don’s section of the Worldwide Web.

Special interest of minister was attracted by “Center-invest ” program of Internet training pupil in the Rostov region. The board of directors has sponsored 1 million rubles the last year for this program. More than 2200 pupil has passed training in “Center-Internet”.

Gref has gave high estimation to the manual “Virtual space of the Internet”, published by experts of the complex. He has suggest the idea that “internetizaion” should accompany the computerization of the Don schools which carried out by regional administration.

Minister has offered variants of cooperation bank “Center-invest” in Russian and international programs in new technologies. In particular is a cooperation with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, partnership in presentation of the Rostov region in Internet — programs of the Ministry.

Gref has summed up in conclusion of the visit : “Success of reforms in Russia depends on such enthusiasts as the bank ‘Center-invest’ team”.
