At the threshold of students-beloved St. Tatyana’s Day (the Russian Students’ Day) the “Center-Invest” bank traditionally felicitated the best students of five Rostov universities. By the end of winter session 50 most talented students of the Rostov State University, Rostov State University of Economy, Rostov State Medical University, Don State Technical University, and Rostov State Building University received pleasant presents – personal scholarships of “Center-Invest” bank amounting to 10,000 Rubles.
“Center-Invest” bank gives incentive to the best students since 2003. This year the scholarships are awarded within the frame of the program “Double with “Center-Invest” Bank”. Part of the program is “Double the Knowledge”. Doubling the knowledge primarily means the support of students by “Center-Invest” – future highly qualified experts, which shall turn into the main link in the chain of doubling the business in the South of Russia, and the living standard of its residents.
More than 40,000 of students of the Rostov State University, Rostov State University of Economy, Rostov State Medical University, Don State Technical University, and Rostov State Building University draw scholarships using Cirrus/ Maestro credit cards issued by “Center-Invest” bank. Besides the possibility to draw cash any place of the world, the “Center-Invest” credit card allows to pay for Internet, or supplement the balance of the mobile phone account by just an SMS-message sent to appropriate number. Besides every spring one can get discounts paying by the “Center-Invest” credit card in a store, café or a cinema.
The scholarships are not the unique social oriented project by “Center-Invest”. Within the program of doubling the knowledge the bank jointly with the Rostov Museum of Natural History launched an educational project due to which over 5,000 students of Rostov-on-Don secondary schools got a chance to visit an exhibition “Treasure of the Don Area Steppes”.
It is not only the young generation that receives attention of the “Center-Invest” bank. At the threshold of the Victory Day the Rostov bank holds yearly meetings with the depositors-World War II veterans; the bank felicitates the veterans and gives presents. In 2004 the “Center-Invest” bank enabled all the pensioners to have their pensions transferred to the bank and obtain good interest on the deposit.
