On April 19, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC credit bank Center-invest professor V.Vysokov, Doctor in Economics, was awarded the diploma of the winner of the contest “Manager of the year in banking sphere – 2004” in nomination “Dynamic development”. The ceremony was held in the Column hall of the House of Unions.

The contest was organized by International Management Academy, Free Economic Society of Russia, Analytical Center for Financial Information with thee support of Russian Banks Association and by “Analytical banking journal”. The jury consisted of representatives of Central Bank of Russia, directors of banking Associations, representatives of State Duma of Russia, Analytical Center for Financial Information and leading Russian and foreign scientists.

The winners of the contest are determined according to two-block system. The first block is evaluation of financial results of bank activity, the quality of bank services and specifics of business development, quality of banking management and corporate culture, efficiency of organizational technologies and business processes; the second one includes the evaluation of professional level and director’s potential.

Professor Vysokov became the winner in nomination “Financial services” of the contest “Businessman of the year – 2003” which was held by the company Ernst&Young; according to the rating of weekly newspaper “Gorod N” he took the first place in nomination “Successful businessman –2004”. Professor Vysokov is the author of over 200 works on problems of transition period economy, privatization and postprivatization development of small business. He is a regular participant of World Economic Forum in Davos, yearly meetings of World Bank, EBRD and other economic forums.

The victory in the contest once again proved that experience, technologies and development strategy of Bank Center-invest meets the demands of international standards completely.
