Despite the beginning of holiday season Bank Center-invest is continuing its work for the development of international cooperation of its clients.

On July 25 and 26 the meetings of the heads of the bank and delegation of Municipal fund of International Finance Corporation (IFC – a structure of World Bank) took place in Rostov-on-Don and in Krasnodar city. During the meetings the information about bank work experience with the projects of municipal economy and about progress of reforms of housing and communal services was presented.

On July 26 the Board of Directors of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved of the project of increasing Bank Center-invest capital by USD 19.5 million.

On July 27 the meeting of shareholders of Bank Center-invest upheld the decision of new share issue.

On July 28 the governor of Rostov region Vladimir Chub met with Independent director of Bank Center-invest, ex-president of Deutsche Bundesbank Ernst Welteke (Germany). Mr. Welteke also held business meetings with First deputy plenipotentiary of President of the Russian Federation in South Federal District Mr. Pochinok.

On July 28 and 29 IFC specialists visited Bank Center-invest to familiarize with mortgage bank programs.

On July 28 the meeting with representatives of German company SIEMENS in the South of Russia took place.

On July 29 the meeting with mayor of the city of Taganrog concerning investment attraction took place.

During the meetings the matters of cooperation of Rostov region, South of Russia and Germany were discussed. The following points were determined to be the main tasks of international partnership:

• New industrialization of enterprises of Don region;
• Development of SMEs;
• Development of financial mechanisms of international cooperation.
