As is now traditional, the February edition of “The Banker” publication included a ranking of the Top 100 Russian banks. Center-invest Bank has moved up the ranking to 69th place for capital (USD179 m) and 58th place for assets (USD2.3bn).
This particular ranking rates banks by Tier 1 capital, calculated in accordance with the Basel Committee’s requirements.
Among all Russian banks, Center-invest Bank ranks 15th for return on Tier 1 capital (29.95%), 25th for return on assets (ROA) (2.37%), and 10th for cost/income ratio (CIR) (35, 54%).
Center-invest Bank’s strong performance indicators show that it is successfully applying a transformational banking business model. The banking industry and regulators now recognise the considerable benefits offered by this approach.
