Earlier this month experts from Center-invest Bank held master classes on corporate social responsibility and staff training and motivation for students at Kuban State Agrarian University and Kuban State Technological University.
The master classes were held as part of a business school that is being run by the Association of European Businesses (AEB). The AEB has enlisted experts from among its members (leading regional and transnational companies) to give lectures and run master classes, training sessions and business simulation games for university students. The students learn about working in business and about how companies today are structured and organised. They also acquire the skills to solve business cases.
Center-invest Bank is an example of a socially responsible business with a global mentality. We implement best international practice in banking. We have an effective sustainable business model, which focuses not on immediate profits, but on longer-term development in the interests of current and future generations.
Center-invest Bank’s social and educational projects aim to increase the importance attached to quality education in Russia today and also to increase knowledge about the economy among broad sectors of the population. The projects encompass all the groups involved in education and academia: teachers, schoolchildren, lecturers, students and recent graduates.
Center-invest Bank’s experts talked to the students about socially responsible business, drawing on the bank’s own experience and practices. The students also learnt about the unique online training course “Enterprise for All”, hosted on the portal school.centrinvest.ru. This course is for anyone who wishes to assess his/her entrepreneurial capabilities and gain a better understanding of the economy.
The main aims of the AEB business school are: to transfer professional business knowledge; to help students develop the personal qualities, attitudes and world views of a manager or entrepreneur; and to equip the students with skills that will further enhance their career prospects.
All the participants in the business school were given the opportunity to take part in Center-invest Bank’s internship programme. This allows students to gain practical experience of working in the region’s leading bank, while also earning some extra money.
