Center-invest Bank is to be an official partner for Russia’s Financial Literacy Week 2017 for Children and Young People, which is an initiative of the Russian Finance Ministry.

Children and young people participating in Financial Literacy Week 2017 will receive comprehensive, reliable and easy-to-understand information relating to financial literacy and personal finance.

Financial Literacy Week will run from 9-15 April 2017. As an official partner, Center-invest Bank will organise at least 30 events. It is anticipated that over 5000 people will participate in these events.

Center-invest Bank’s Financial Literacy Centres in the Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai are putting together a special programme for children and students. This will feature talks on financial management, budgeting, entrepreneurship, the basics of economics, and taxation and bookkeeping. Talks and training sessions will be given by senior managers and experts from Center-invest Bank, as well as volunteers from the Financial Literacy Centres.

To make financial literacy education universally accessible, Center-invest Bank runs a free online course «Enterprise for All» (school.centrinvest.ru). In 2016, the Bank added a module on taxation to the course. This module was developed together with the Rostov Region Department of the Federal Tax Service.
