Center-invest Bank won two categories in the recent Kuban Financial Market Leader Competition: "effective credit policy" and "contribution to improving financial literacy in the Kuban region". The awards were presented by the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratev, during the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.

Center-invest Bank localises best international practice for the benefit of southern Russia. It has developed unique loan programmes, such as "Start-Up", "Youth Business Russia" and "Business Loans for Women", and it always offers the best terms for bank products and services. At the same time, the main driver of growth in the bank’s loan portfolio in 2016 was mortgage lending. Last year Center-invest Bank’s Krasnodar branch increased its mortgage portfolio by 50%. This was thanks to record low rates and there being no mandatory insurance requirement for borrowers.

In autumn 2016 a Financial Literacy Centre was opened in the city of Krasnodar to improve the financial literacy of the population of Krasnodar Krai. The Centre is a joint social and educational project of Center-invest Bank and Kuban State Technological University.

The aim of the project is to provide young people, the working population, pensioners, and small businesses in southern Russia with free training and advice on financial issues. This will help the local population to avoid mistakes when borrowing money and carrying out other financial transactions.

"This project reflects our responsible attitude to social development, improving the financial literacy of the population, and increasing the number of new entrepreneurs in the region," said Alexei Rashevsky, manager of the bank’s Krasnodar branch.

Center-invest Bank’s first Financial Literacy Centre was opened in Rostov-on-Don in 2014, in partnership with Southern Federal University.
