The Bank of Russia has noted Center-invest Bank’s contribution to financial education and has thanked Dr Vasily Vysokov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, for supporting the work of the Russian Financial Literacy Association.
The Financial Literacy Centres established by Center-invest Bank in partnership with leading higher education institutions have been a cornerstone of its ecosystem for over six years now. This socio-educational project reflects the bank’s responsible attitude to social development and financial literacy, as well as its commitment to ESG principles.
The five Financial Literacy Centres are based in southern Russia (in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Taganrog and Volgodonsk). The Centres run distance learning courses so that anyone can access their resources irrespective of where they live.
The Centres run programmes for different categories of the population: schoolchildren, students, the working population, and the older generation. Each programme is designed to meet the specific interests and needs of the audience. Participants greatly appreciate the engaging materials, which include real-life examples, and the professionalism of the teaching.
The Financial Literacy Centres also run the bank’s accelerator programme, which was established to help start-ups as well as existing businesses.
Experts from the Financial Literacy Centres volunteer for the Financial Education Digital Marathon and regularly participate in Financial Literacy Weeks held in Russia’s regions.
The bank continues to be an ambassador for financial education in Russia and to provide expert assistance to the Financial Literacy Association.
