In November 2020 the Nechitailo Museum in Salsk became a partner for Center-invest Bank’s “Southern Russia’s Artistic Heritage” programme. With financial support from the bank, the museum runs an excursion programme for its "Don Artists” exhibition.
Thanks to this new cultural partnership, Salsk schoolchildren and 750 students from the Industrial College, the Economics and Law College and the South University institution have visited the Nechitailo Museum free of charge. The museum is named after the Soviet People’s Artist, Vasily Nechitailo.
The Don Artists initiative is part of the bank’s long-term programme “Southern Russia’s Artistic Heritage”. This programme aims to highlight the cultural achievements and talents of regional artists whose work celebrates the beauty of southern Russia. It was a logical next step for the Nechitailo Museum to become one of our partners.
The Nechitailo Museum runs a cultural and educational project “Get to Know and Love the Fine Arts” and participates in the events “Museums Night”, “Memorial Candle”, “Droplets of Life”, Museum Day for Russian Cadets” and “Night of the Arts”. It has a permanent exhibition dedicated to Vasily Nechitailo, as well as the Don Artists exhibition and an exhibition of 20th Century Art.
