Vasily Vysokov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank, Professor, Doctor of Economics, received the award "For the Best Practice in Developing the Institution of Mentoring among the Workforce" from the regional tripartite commission for the regulation of social and labour relations in the Rostov region.
The regional tripartite commission brings together representatives of the Rostov Region Government, trade union associations, and employers’ associations to address issues of labour relations and social partnership at the regional level.
Center-invest Bank implements a socially responsible banking business model. Since its inception, the bank has been committed to the transfer of knowledge, experience, skills, traditions, and localisation of best global practices. This approach has proven effective and is being replicated through the bank’s Financial Literacy Centres in Rostov, Taganrog, Krasnodar, Volgodonsk, and Novocherkassk, where more than 2 million people have been trained. Initial training at the Centres is complemented by internships in the bank’s divisions under the guidance of mentors and develops into career growth.
"At Center-invest Bank, we live by the motto "Teach, control, do it yourself." In today’s fast-changing world, young people with new digital skills are increasingly adopting a mentoring culture. Teams are formed that share knowledge and experience in order to solve a common problem," explains Professor Vasily Vysokov.
Every employee and manager can act as a mentor. A mentor’s title is confirmed through his behaviour and participation in the development of a new generation of employees. Mentoring traditions form a part of the bank’s corporate and production culture. The highest form of evaluation for mentors is the gratitude and appreciation of employees and the results of the bank’s effective work based on the responsible banking business model.
