National Library of Havana received The Citizen of Rostov-on-Don and The Citizen of Taganrog books as a gift from Center-invest Bank and The Nation Magazine.

The Citizen of Rostov-on-Don and The Citizen of Taganrog projects are the compilations of life stories of natives and residents of Rostov and Taganrog who have made these cities famous not only nationwide, but also in the whole world.

«We greatly appreciate the interest in Russian culture expressed by the Cubans, and are glad that life stories of outstanding persons from Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog are now available at Havana’s National Library. Through our projects, we are building the bridges of friendship and mutual respect, as such notions as talent, kindness, courage, commitment to the cause, patriotism, love to your native place know no frontiers, they are universal and will always resonate with people of all nations,» pointed out Lidia Simonova, Chairperson of Center-invest Bank’s Management Board.
