At the 16th Ecology International Forum, within the framework of the working session "ESG and national priorities: points of intersection and responsible financing" Center-invest Bank shared successful ESG practices, discussed the adaptation of ESG to the Russian environment.
The Forum brought together more than 1,500 experts: representatives of business, the scientific community and public figures from Russia and foreign countries. The two-day business program of the forum included about 30 sections focused on environmental and social issues.
Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Center-invest Bank, PhD in Economics Alexander Dolganov gave a report "ESG Banking for National Priorities", highlighting the bank’s implementation of sustainable development principles:
"Center-invest Bank demonstrates a high level of integration of the environmental agenda into its business processes. The bank became one of the first in Russia to introduce environmental audits of clients and financed projects within its credit process, as well as systematic climate risk monitoring. The Bank was also the first in the country to issue green bonds in the Sustainable Development Sector of the Moscow Exchange."
The Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) has confirmed ESG-2 (AA+) rating, with a stable outlook, for Center-invest Bank. This reflects the highest assessment level in the fields of ecology, social responsibility, and management among Russian banks.
