The session was devoted to elaborating tools and methodologies aimed at developing, popularizing and promoting the sustainable development and social responsibility practices among small and medium-sized businesses in the country's regions.

The panelists were the leading experts — representatives of consulting, auditing, financial, research organizations, industry and professional associations, large businesses.

Center-invest Bank has presented its experience in developing and implementing its own ESG-rating methodology for SME customers which was used to assess more than 1,800 customers. The new methodology includes 25 factors grouped into 4 sections: financial aspects, environment, social services, and management. To promote the ESG agenda between the SME customers, the bank builds up a loyalty program linked to the borrower's credit score, including a discount from the basic interest rate for the loan.
