Yuri Bogdanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank, participated in the plenary session of the VII conference "Transformation of Financial Markets and Financial Systems in the Digital Economy" in Moscow that took place at the Financial University.

The key topic of the 2025 conference is "Digital Assets: Connecting Opportunities". The programme comprised a plenary session, six thematic sections and a youth platform.

At the plenary session, Yuri Bogdanov discussed the experience of implementing digital rouble payments at Center-invest Bank:

At the forum of innovative financial technologies, Finopolis 2025, Center-invest Bank presented a prototype interface for creating a smart contract between participants in the budget financing process that are the Rostov Region Government, FC "Rostov", Center-invest Bank, and the Bank of Russia, and showcased how the digital rouble will help optimise the budget process for financing the sports club’s activities. In the future, this experience could be transferred to other sectors of the Rostov Region economy, leading to a result whereby the digital rouble platform and digital financial asset technologies will facilitate the acceleration of transparent intra-regional settlement chains, thereby increasing the availability of funds in the region without posing inflation risks, while reducing the level of non-payments.

Representatives of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Bank of Russia, the Moscow Exchange, information system operators and financial businesses presented keynote speeches at the conference. Thematic sections showcased projects from the business community and the outcomes of scientific research related to the themes of the conference. The youth platform took the form of a competition to present the best research projects addressing the financial aspects of digitalisation.

Center-invest Bank has joined the Bank of Russia’s pilot project to introduce the digital rouble in 2023. In 2025, the bank joined the working group on the Rostov Region’s participation in the "Digital Rouble" project. Center-invest Bank has now launched digital rouble payments for legal entities participating in the pilot project.
