The ‘Economics of Transformation’ new international student contest focusing on social, economic, environmental and infrastructure projects was launched on February 1, 2023.

The contest is open to students, master’s program and graduate students, researchers and associates from Russian and international universities. The contest has a 3-million-ruble prize pool.

The contest is supported by:

— Financial Literacy Improvement Association;

— Rostov State University of Economics (RSUE);

— Southern Federal University;

— Don State Technical University;

— M. I. Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI);

— South Russian Institute of Management — branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Financial partner of the contest is Center-invest Bank.

To participate, one has to prepare a project and fill out an application on the contest website. To ensure comprehensive implementation of structural transformation, the project should include such key sections as description of the market, stakeholders, strategy, project promotion mechanisms, investments, scientific foundations, risk management and control, corporate culture of transformation, etc. The applications are accepted until April 30, 2023. The announcement and award of the winners will take place on May 26, 2023, which is the Russian Entrepreneurship Day.
