Sergey Smirnov, Deputy Chairman of Center-invest Bank’s Management Board, Ph.D. in Economics, spoke at the conference titled "Russian-Chinese Dialog: A Path to Success".

Representatives of the Rostov-on-Don Education Department, Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region, Rostov Regional Branch of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, Public Chamber of the Rostov Region, Center-invest Bank, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education of China spoke at the plenary session.

The key areas of discussion at the conference were issues of developing academic cooperation between Russia and China, training in-demand specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language, Russian-Chinese projects in the field of education and science, and cases of successful Russian-Chinese business cooperation.

In his presentation, Sergey Smirnov spoke about financial instruments for the businesses working with China and about the experience of Center-invest Bank related to implementation of educational projects in the Chinese language:

"For Southern Russia, China is an important and mutually beneficial partner in international trade. In 2023 Center-invest Bank for the first time presented its annual statement and ESG report in Chinese, and a new section for investors in the Chinese language was added to the bank’s official website. Such information transparency allows to ensure a higher level of trust and faster interaction on the part of the bank’s partners in China."

Center-invest Bank, together with the Center for Financial Literacy, is implementing the "Entrepreneurship for All" training program for the beginner and active entrepreneurs in the Chinese language.
