In 2021 Center-invest Bank made 1231 loans for a total of RUB1.027bn under a special programme to support medical workers. Medical workers can apply for a preferential loan from Center-invest Bank or to refinance a loan from another bank on preferential terms.

Center-invest Bank launched the programme to support frontline medical workers* in January 2021. The special loan terms apply to consumer, mortgage and car loans.

Under this programme, the interest rate for new loans is reduced by 0.5% per annum on the base rate. Reduced rates are also offered for existing loan agreements with Center-invest Bank and for refinancing loans from other banks.

“We believe that supporting medical workers at this challenging time, offering them special terms, is part of our social responsibility,” said Head of Center-invest Bank’s Retail Lending Department, Nikolai Paramonov. “The preferential loan programme has been very popular, and we decided to extend it into 2022.”
