Partnership for digitalisation

On the 30 June 2022, Center-invest Bank held a joint meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Digital Development, Information Technology, and Communications of Rostov Region, the IT Education Fund, and the largest universities in southern Russia.

 At the meeting, Center-invest Bank presented its lending tools to support businesses and employees of IT companies, in particular its own preferential mortgage programme for IT specialists with an annual interest rate of 6.4%. The programme is being implemented in cooperation with the Rostov regional government and is aimed to preserve the IT potential of southern Russia.

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Vasily Vysokov, presented a new statistical digest  “Digitalisation indicators across Don Region: 2022” , prepared by Rostovstat with the support of the bank. The digest contains statistical data on the development of the IT industry in the Rostov Region for 2016–2021 as compared with indicators of the Southern Federal District and the Russian Federation. 

“Analysis of digitalisation indicators is essential for authorities, businesses, parents and the new generation to make investment decisions, to find out the best way to use the always limited resources to get the maximum effect from the digital technologies,” specifies Professor Vysokov. 

Participants noted the importance of partnership between the government, business and universities in relation to the implementation of digitalisation programmes and preparing IT specialists in the region. Center-invest Bank supports the development of talented young people and the education of highly-demanded staff for future growth of the country’s digital economy. The bank regularly sponsors and participates in regional hackathons and educational programmes for IT students.
