The “School of Sustainable Development” First Graduates

On October 1–2, 2025, Center-invest Bank, together with Southern Federal University, held the "Autumn School of Sustainable Development" for students.

Vasily Vysokov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank, Head of the "ESG Banking" project group at the Association of Banks of Russia, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, addressed the guests and participants of the event with a welcoming speech:

Center-invest Bank has been and remains a leader in the ESG banking market. We have reimagined banking: socially responsible banking is not about buying and selling risks, but about managing risks for the benefit of current and future generations, supporting businesses in sustainable technologies, social development, transparent administration, the restoration of natural resources, and the competent management of climate risks. Based on a critical analysis of global practices and its own experience, Center-invest Bank has formulated the principles of sovereign ESG banking. Rather than copying imposed rules, it is important to study the experience, take the best of it, and solve the most difficult problems for everyone and better than anyone else.

Over the course of two days, sustainable development experts from across the country delivered in-person and online talks to students on the fundamental principles of ESG, the impact of business on ecosystems and the experience of implementation of ESG strategies within companies. The participants discussed the role of students in ESG transformation with the speakers and reviewed examples of successful cases.

To mark the start of the "Autumn Sustainable Development School", participants planted a tree near the headquarters of the Center-invest Bank.

In 2025, Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) confirmed the ESG rating of Center-invest Bank at ESG-2 (AA+) with stable outlook, which corresponds to the highest assessment in the field of environment, social responsibility and
