In the beginning of October the annual assembly of the World Bank Group was held in Washington. The Chairman of Board of directors of the JSC Center-invest bank, professor, doctor of the economic sciences mr. Vysokov V.V. has taken part in this international forum by the invitation of the International Financial Corporation (the IFC is the structure of the World Bank responsible for the private sector investments).

The World Bank Forum is a unique event, gathering chiefs of the leading global financial structures and the members of governments (this year 184 countries were represented).

Within the framework of the forum professor Vysokov V.V. has held a number of working meetings with representatives of the World Bank, the International Financial Corporation, the International Currency Fund and other participants of the annual assembly, on which the plans on attraction of the investments in economy of the South of Russia for 2005 was discussed.

For today the international financial organizations have already opened the credit and guarantee lines for over $ 50 million to the JSC Center-invest bank aimed on development of the Southern Federal District economy. Another $ 20 million are planned to engage up to the end of the current year.
