On November 24, 2004, upon invitation of Ambassador of Switzerland in the Russian Federation E. Hofer, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Center-invest bank, professor, Doctor of economic sciences Vasiliy Vysokov took part in the launching of a project Corporate Governance in Russian Banking Sector. This project is implemented by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) under assistance of the State Secretariat of Switzerland for Economy (SECO).

On the same day in the Small Hall of Administration of the President of the Russian Federation in Moscow conference Corporate Governance: Issues of the Day and Practical Approaches was opened. On the conference Center-invest bank shared its successful ex-perience on implementation of corporate governance with other participants. Center-invest became the first bank amid the pilot-companies which entered the project of the IFC Cor-porate Governance in Russia. In April 2004 the bank adopted the Codes of Corporate Be-havior and Corporate Ethics, Provisions for dividend policy and informational policy.

Experience of Center-invest bank was also of great interest to the participants of in-ternational conference Management of Strategic Development held in Moscow on Novem-ber 24. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Center-invest bank, professor Va-siliy Vysokov delivered a report on Experience of Innovative Strategy Implementation. Strategy of Center-invest bank is to render contemporary banking services on the basis of international standards of quality and safety.
