The authorized capital of JSC Center-invest bank came to 1.075 billion of ru-bles as of December 24, 2004. The billion frontier was got over in result of realiza-tion of agreement between Center-invest bank and The International Finance Corpo-ration (IFC – the structure of the World Bank responsible for investments to private sector) on extension to Rostov bank of subordinated loan in amount of $5 millions for 6 years period and credit line in amount of $5 millions.

Participation of the IFC in the authorized capital of Center-invest bank is the second step towards the strengthening of foreign investor's confidence to Rostov bank after the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) became a shareholder of Center-invest.

The confidence of the leading international financial institutions in Center-invest's success and prospects enabled economy of the Southern Federal District to attract the re-sources of other foreign partners, such as USAID, KfW, Hermes and others, as well as to increase credit portfolio of Center-invest bank up to 6 billions and assets - to 8.5 billions rubles.

Today the amount of credit and guarantee lines extended to Center-invest bank by the largest international banks exceeds $70 millions.

Developing the accumulated experience of international co-operation, in 2005 Cen-ter-invest bank presented to corporate and individual clients its new program Doubling! suggesting the doubling of business sizes and living standards of the clients as well as doubling of knowledge, scale and profit on the basis of contemporary banking technolo-gies.

The specialists of the IFC and EBRD assisted Center-invest in adoption of Code of Conduct, implementation of contemporary methods for risk-management and internal con-trol. New technologies for banking management allow Center-invest to participate in the consolidation processes of banking system efficiently.
