On June 8 the meeting of the Board of Directors of the largest enterprises of the Kirovsky district of Rostov-on-Don took place in Center-invest Bank. The Chairmn of the Board of Directors of Center-invest Bank professor Vasily V. Vysokov, doctor in economics, presented the program “Stimulation of investments into energy-saving technologies” specifically for the directors of the city enterprises.

Center-invest Bank together with International Finance Corporation (IFC) finance industrial enterprises, enterprises of service industry as well as municipal enterprises, which use or plan to implement energy-saving technologies.

The first enterprises, which obtained financing for modernization of equipment and decreasing power-inputs, became Confectionary complex “Cuban” (Krasnodar city), “Lemaks” Ltd (Taganrog city), Brick factory “Anastasievsky” (Taganrog city), company “Vasilyev and Sons” (Novocherkassk city), “Paper-South” Ltd (Timashevsk city), UNK-Agroproduct Ltd (Kropotkin city). The total volume of financing exceeded RUR 48 million. In June Center-invest Bank will finance the enterprises from Rostov, Aksai, Chaltyr and Krasnodar cities to the amount of over RUR 58 million.

Realization of the program in the Eastern Europe countries as well as in the South of Russia, where Center-invest Bank became the first IFC partner-bank, revealed the possibility of decreasing power-inputs by over 30%.The matter of special interest for the directors became the experience of project lending in municipal economy and association of dwelling owners. The prospective of tariffs growth for energy resources make investments into energy saving more and more attractive.

Seminars, devoted to decreasing energy-expenses, will take place in district Councils of directors of enterprises.
