On July 20-22 a meeting of KfW bank (Germany) and Center-invest Bank took place in Volgograd. German delegation was headed by the Chairman of Board of Managing Directors of KfW, Mrs. Ingrid Matthäus-Maier while the largest Bank of the South of Russia was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC CB “Center-invest”, professor Vasily V. Vysokov, doctor in economics, and Independent director, ex-president of “Deutsche Bundesbank”, Ernst Welteke.

German delegation took part in a ceremonial opening of a new Center-invest Bank office in Volgograd. They congratulated citizens of the microdistrict and customers of the Bank of the South of Russia. The guests themselves made sure that the new office of Center-invest Bank has all the conditions for the customers to feel comfortable.

During the meeting with Deputy Governor of Volgograd region for economy and investment police, Mr. Shilin, Center-invest Bank management (Chairman of the Board of Directors, professor Vasily V. Vysokov, doctor in economics, and Independent director, Ernst Welteke) and German guests discussed prospects of cooperation to realize projects of German investments attraction.

Priority financing directions are construction of large enterprises, small business development, municipal economy and increase of living standards of the region population.

At present over one hundred and forty thousand depositors of the South of Russia confide in Center-invest Bank. The volume of deposits exceeded RUR 9 billion. Due to a wide range of “prize-winning” deposits, Center-invest Bank customers save their money as well as receive valuable prizes. Apart from that the Bank provides actively lending to SMEs.
