The XX anniversary award ceremony for the «Smart Scholarship» contest winners took place. Center-invest Bank and the «Education and Science of the Southern Federal District» Endowment Fund allocated 8 million roubles for scholarships to 200 best students.

«Smart Scholarship» is an annual contest for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students to win a personal scholarship from the bank and the «Education and Science of the Southern Federal District» Endowment Fund. 

 The Contest Committee evaluates applicants’ financial literacy level, ability to practice their knowledge in business and willingness to roll out their own projects that are in-line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Through articulating their own ideas and visions of the future in the language of SDG, young people come to perceive their role in this new world and can proffer new local solutions for the global problems.

 In 2022, 9,000 people (being an applicant number record) from 17 leading universities of Krasnodar Region, Rostov Region, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Nizhny Novgorod and the Republic of Adygea submitted their progress and business projects to the Contest committee.

In the end, the jury selected 200 works form the best students, who received scholarships from Center-invest Bank and the «Education and Science of the Southern Federal District» Endowment Fund. The scholarship was 40,000 roubles for each finalist of the contest. 

Supporting able-minded and talented youth is the prime mission of the bank’s social and educational projects. Center-invest Bank and the Endowment Fund have been awarding this smart scholarship since 2002. In the 20 years of the contest’s existence, more than 30,000 people participated and 5,800 students were awarded with the scholarship. In 2022, Center-invest Bank raised the «Education and Science of the Southern Federal District» Endowment Fund capital up to 207 million roubles making it the top largest endowment fund in today’s South of Russia.
