Senior representatives of Center-invest Bank met with members of the governing bodies of Kyrgyzstan’s leading bank, and shared our experience of selling unique retail products and services in southern Russia.
Members of the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (KICB) visited Center-invest Bank’s head office in Rostov-on-Don to study international best practice in private banking and our experience of establishing a successful retail banking business.
Our Kyrgyz colleagues were very interested in our unique experience of financing energy efficiency projects, increasing mortgage lending, and developing bank products based on the Mir national payment card. They were also very inspired by how Center-invest Bank works with start-up projects and female entrepreneurs, and how we help businesses to adapt their thinking to the post-crisis environment.
"Center-invest Bank has long provided an example of international best practice in socially responsible banking, and our meeting with our Kyrgyz colleagues attests to this," said Sergei Smirnov, chairman of the Executive Board of Center-invest Bank. "We are happy to offer work placements to KICB staff so that they can study retail lending, as well as payments and cash management for retail customers. Both Russia and Kyrgyzstan have national payment systems, and it was interesting for both sides to share their experience in this area."
Center-invest Bank regularly hosts such meetings, helping to establish cooperation with the customers and partners of other banks that, like us, are leaders in their markets.
