ACRA affirms Center-invest Bank’s Stable Rating

2020年07月09日

On 9 July 2020 the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) upheld Center-invest Bank’s A(RU) national scale rating, outlook stable.

ACRA’s decision to affirm Center-invest Bank’s A(RU) rating is based on the bank’s appropriate business profile, strong capital adequacy, appropriate risk profile assessment, and appropriate assessment of its liquidity and funding position.

ACRA considers that the bank has a moderately high level of creditworthiness compared to other credit institutions in Russia.

The ratings agency commended Center-invest Bank for the quality of its corporate governance and noted that the bank has a balanced development strategy taking into account trends in the development of the Russian banking system.

Center-invest Bank is a regional bank which is growing organically. It ranks 71st for capital among Russian banks. Its main business areas are lending to retail customers and SME lending.

All of the bank’s products and services are based on an ESG banking business model and reflect its responsible attitude to the social development of the regions in which it operates, the protection of natural resources, improving the financial literacy of the population, and developing entrepreneurship.

The bank’s financial indicators not only demonstrate growth, but also the scale of its contribution to implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In 2019 through its lending to the real economy, the bank channelled RUB86.7bn to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and RUB79.3bn to Russia’s National Projects.

In addition to its ACRA national scale rating, Center-invest Bank has had a Ba3 rating, outlook stable, from Moody’s Investors Service since 2006. Moody’s affirmed this rating in May of this year.
