Center-invest Bank’s specialists conducted 20 complimentary intensive training sessions on artificial intelligence for 700 public sector employees from over 30 ministries and departments of the Rostov Regional Government, as well as municipal and district administrations across the Don region.
The intensive training cycle commenced following the signing of a cooperation agreement in February 2026 between the bank and the Ministry of Digital Development, Information Technologies and Communications of the Rostov Region.
The impact proved to be systemic rather than merely educational: the curriculum and participant feedback formed the basis of the regional artificial intelligence implementation plan. The Rostov Region received a practical, working tool rather than just a lecture.
Participants highly rated the training, giving it 4.9 out of 5 points, praising the format of live demonstrations, interactive games, and discussions.
"It was a highly engaging, practical event with a vibrant atmosphere and a fantastic speaker who explains complex concepts in plain language, accompanied by brilliant memes. It is so compelling and high-value that it makes you want to start deploying AI immediately."
Upon completing the course, attendees are already drafting prompts to achieve immediate results, safely applying neural networks, and confidently distinguishing where AI adds value and where it remains ineffective.
Participant feedback demonstrated that the time required to prepare regional administration documents plummeted from five days to just 15 minutes. At the same time, the documents have become more comprehensive, account for a larger number of stakeholders, cover a wider range of alternatives, and feature clearer wording, whilst requiring stricter oversight: "Intelligence may be artificial, but responsibility remains personal."
"Center-invest Bank provided this training on a complimentary basis, saving approximately 150 million roubles in public funds. However, this is not charity, but rather an investment in the effective governance of the region. Everyone acknowledges that training should have started yesterday; yet while university professors lecture on the difficulties, complexities, and risks, an overwhelming majority of students raise their hands when asked, ‘Who uses AI?’" notes Center-invest Bank’s Scientific Director, Professor Vasily Vysokov, Doctor of Economics.
Center-invest Bank is actively involved in training young professionals: it established the Artificial Intelligence Centre at the Rostov State University of Economics (RSUE), acts as an industrial partner to the Southern Federal University (SFU) for the DS and TOP-DS programmes under the "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State" Federal Project, collaborates with the Don State Technical University (DSTU) on the "Game Development and Intelligent Technologies" training and project laboratory, and organises project competitions such as "Digital Portrait of the Region", "Learning Trajectory", and "AI in Term Papers and Theses".
In collaboration with the Rostov Region Innovation Agency, Center-invest Bank facilitates the implementation of AI tools at enterprises participating in the "Labour Productivity" Federal Project.
