Sergey Skripka, executive board of Center-invest Bank, took part in a joint expanded meeting of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the South of Russia, the Council of Rectors of Universities of the North Caucasus Federal District, and the Working Group of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the South of Russia of the Russian Academy of Education for the Development of Educational Sciences.
The event was held in Krasnodar with the participation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Southern Main Branch of the Bank of Russia. The main objectives of the meeting were to strengthen interregional cooperation between universities of the South of Russia and the North Caucasus with the financial regulator and the professional community, as well as to discuss practical tools for the sustainable development of educational institutions.
Key topics included the development of fundraising and the formation of endowment funds at universities, the presentation of banking sector projects and competitions in the interest of universities, and the development and integration of mechanisms for implementing artificial intelligence technologies into the work of educational and scientific organizations in the region.
Sergey Skripka spoke about Center-invest Bank’s experience in creating, capitalizing, and managing endowment funds; about a joint pilot project involving the Central Bank, the Government of the Rostov Region, and Center-invest Bank regarding the use of the digital ruble in the budget process; and delivered a report entitled "New Creative Projects for Education and Science in the South of Russia". During his presentation, he announced the launch of two innovative competitions organized by "Center-invest bank": "Digital Portrait of the Region" and "The Future Learning Path: Personalization Using AI", both aimed at the digital transformation of the educational process and the development of analytical competencies among university students in the Russian Federation.
The meeting participants supported Center-invest Bank’s initiatives and emphasized the importance of widely informing universities about new opportunities, as well as the need to establish pilot sites for implementing innovations and subsequently scaling successful practices.
