Mr. Alexander Dolganov, Ph.D. in Economics, Deputy Chairman of Center-invest Bank’s Management Board, took part in the panel discussion International Economic Integration of the CIS in the Context of the Transition to Sustainable Development at the CIS International Economic Forum.

The participants discussed the Sustainable Development strategies and models, decarbonization of economy, financial mechanisms allowing an ESG transformation and changes in the state governance in the field of Sustainable Development.

Alexander Dolganov shared the Center-invest Bank experience in promotion of Sustainable Development practices through the responsible lending to SMEs.

«Sustainable development co-operation between banks and SMEs is not only financial support, but also an important step towards a healthy economy. Responsible lending stimulates entrepreneurs to create innovative environmentally safe products,» concluded Alexander Dolganov.

Center-invest Bank has been operating on the basis of the sustainable banking model for 30 years and is now the leader in ESG banking implementation. The Bank experience is presented in the published book titled A Regional Bank in the Sovereign Economy analyzing the evolution of sustainable development concept and its efficient use in Russia.
