Center-invest Bank attended the first meeting of the State Duma Expert Council on Sustainable Development and Green Finance.

At the Expert Council meeting, Duma members, business representatives, rating agencies, financial institutions, and other market players discussed the prospects for developing the sustainability agenda in Russia given the recent economic changes.

The Expert Council members decided to keep on working on ESG issues, including energy efficiency improvement, community support, establishment of a national verification and non-financial reporting system.

“ESG-Digitalisation 2.0 strategy, adopted by the bank, aims to transform our customers’ businesses, raise living standards, and strengthen social responsibility. In this way it fully aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and National Projects of Russia,” commented Alexander Dolganov, Expert Council member and Deputy Chairman of Center-invest Bank Executive Board.

Center-invest Bank successfully implements loan programmes for small businesses, investing in energy efficiency projects, youth entrepreneurship, women’s business, and social responsibility. To date, the total investments are RUB 299.3 billion for the Sustainable Development Goals and RUB 261.7 billion for the National Projects.
