Center-invest Bank discusses development of family business in the Federation Council

On 15 July, Mr. Alexander Dolganov, Ph.D. in Economics, Deputy Chairman of Center-invest Bank’s Management Board, took part in the round table "Current issues of development of family entrepreneurship in Russia. Experience of the Regions" in the Federation Council and shared with the participants the experience of Center-invest Bank.

The participants of the round table discussed family entrepreneurship as an example of a "social lift", measures to stimulate large families, issues of labour education of young people and their involvement in entrepreneurship, and specific proposals for targeted support of family companies.

Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Department of Demographic and Family Policy of the Ministry of Labour of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the executive branch and the banking sector, as well as family businesses took part in the discussion.

Alexander Dolganov spoke about the history of Center-invest Bank which is a shining example of success and sustainability of a family business, and about the bank’s programmes to support women’s and family entrepreneurship.

"As a family business, Center-invest Bank is distinguished by a responsible approach to the product, the overall result and a positive impact on the business and lives of our clients. The bank continues family traditions and shares its accumulated experience with its clients," Alexander Dolganov emphasised in his report.

For over 12 years, the bank has been implementing the Business Loan for Women programme with preferential terms. As of 01.07.2024, more than 2042 projects worth RUB 5.6 billion have been implemented.

In 2024, declared the Year of the Family, Center-invest Bank became the first bank in Russia to offer a Family Business programme with comprehensive services, free settlement and cash services, preferential financing and acquiring. The programme won the nomination "For support and development of family business" in the "Best banking programme for SMEs — 2024″ competition organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Just like in the family, the bank provides financial literacy training to all generations, including inclusive clients. Over 10 years, specialists and volunteers of the Center-Invest Bank’s Financial Literacy Center have trained more than 2 million students, organised more than 6,000 educational events, and trained more than 5,000 financial literacy volunteers to replicate the experience throughout Russia and beyond.
