Center-invest Bank is among leaders of the ESG ranking of Russian financial sector organizations prepared by the National Rating Agency.

The study was a review of the sustainable development practices of 35 financial institutions. The review was conducted in three areas representing the main components of ESG: Environmental Practices, Social Practices and Corporate Governance Practices. The methodology used by the National Rating Agency is based on national regulatory requirements, international experience and best practices in the field of sustainable development.

Center-invest Bank was among the leaders in all categories, with 100% compliance in areas such as Exposure to Environmental Risks, Impact on Society and Sustainable Development Management.

The regional Center-invest Bank implements an ESG business model aimed at the development of sovereignty (including technological sovereignty) based on the creative search for new optimal solutions to build a planning horizon and the search for innovative tools to adapt to new challenges.

The bank promotes the principles of responsible financing and is actively increasing its portfolio of loans for sustainable development projects. Among the green projects in the Bank’s portfolio are those related to reducing waste generation and obtaining secondary raw materials, "green" passenger transport, as well as social and adaptation projects.
