Expert RA national rating agency has published an ESG ranking of financial companies based on the results of 2024. Center-invest Bank ranked seventh among Russian lending institutions.
The national rating agency’s ESG ranking is based on analysis of 50 bank indicators across three main areas: environmental management, social impact, and sustainability management quality.
Center-invest Bank has been operating on the basis of sustainable banking model for more than 30 years, it is among leaders in implementation of ESG banking, and is disclosing non-financial corporate reports since 2012.
The bank is steadily introducing the initiatives on implementation of new sustainable practices: issue of Russia’s first green bonds, creation of the world’s first ESG balance sheet, carbon footprint accounting for the mortgage and agribusiness portfolios.
The bank develops and provides ESG-oriented products and services for population and small business entities, and informs its clients and partners of its ESG performance results: as of 01 October 2025, out of each 100 rubles of attracted deposits 61 rubles are spent on financing of Sustainable Development Goals, and 68 rubles are allocated towards financing of National Projects.
Center-invest Bank has an internal non-financial rating system in place for its clients. 5,283 loans for the total amount of 41.6 billion rubles have undergone non-financial rating as of the year-end 2025, which constitutes 92% of the entire corporate loan portfolio. Thus, the bank is making steady efforts to engage entrepreneurs in responsible business practices in the regions of its presence.
The bank’s reliability and commitment to ESG principles have also been confirmed by the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) in the form of ESG-2 (AA+) ESG rating with stable outlook, which corresponds to the highest assessment in the field of environment, social responsibility and governance among rated Russian banks.
