Center-invest Bank took first place among financial companies for the number of streams and views as part of the Bank of Russia and Education Ministry project, “Online Financial Literacy Lessons for Schoolchildren”. The project reached over four million schoolchildren.

The aims of the “Online Financial Literacy Lessons” national programme are to teach schoolchildren about sensible money management, introduce them to real-life financial products and services, and warn them of the risks.

Pupils from secondary and general educational institutions, vocational educational organisations, and organisations for children in care participated in the programme.

Experts and volunteers from Center-invest Bank’s Financial Literacy Centre released 83 streams which were viewed by 490,000 people. The most popular seminar topics were "Personal Finances” and “Financial Instruments”.

“Our experience of developing Financial Literacy Centres enabled us to integrate effectively with the Bank of Russia project,” said Vladislav Soleny, who is in charge of Center-invest Bank’s educational projects. “We expanded the number of topics and lessons and we attracted extra speakers. This allowed us to improve the financial literacy of a large number of schoolchildren.”

Center-invest Bank has been working to improve financial education and literacy in Russia since 2012. There are now five Financial Literacy Centres in southern Russia (in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Taganrog and Volgodonsk). The Centres have provided over one million people with free advice, and they have held 4000 events, educational talks and seminars. The Financial Literacy Centres are a cornerstone of Center-invest Bank’s ecosystem. The bank’s work to improve financial literacy in the regions in which it operates reflects its responsible attitude to social development and financial literacy, as well as its commitment to ESG principles.
