Center-invest Bank Joins the Memorandum on Fair Consumer Information

2026年07月14日

Center-invest Bank has acceded to the Memorandum on Fair Consumer Information. The document was developed by the Association of Banks of Russia and the National Financial Market Council, together with the Bank of Russia and the Federal Antimonopoly Service, and aims to protect consumers from hidden terms and manipulation when selecting deposit products.

For Center-invest Bank, honesty is the main asset and the foundation of its operations. Transparency of deposits and loans without additional terms, hidden fees, or asterisks allows the bank to build long-term, trusted relationships with its clients.

"It is important for us that the client understands all the terms of the contract before signing it. That is precisely why, even for first-time loan applicants, we do not apply a ‘novice surcharge’. On the contrary, we explain the product and offer a discount to ensure that their initial credit experience does not become a debt trap, but rather builds confidence in the Bank and in the financial system as a whole," explains the Chairman of the Board, Sergey Skripka.

To promote financial awareness and provide free consultations to the public, the bank was the first in Russia to open a Financial Literacy Centre (FLC) in 2014. Since its launch, the FLC project has improved the financial literacy of more than 2 million people.

The bank discloses information about its objectives and methods of operation in a complete, transparent, reliable and timely manner. Since 2019, Center-invest Bank has been tracking its investments. The Bank has allocated RUB 781.1 billion to projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and RUB 723.6 billion to those supporting the national goals. This is an honest approach to financing that allows the bank to reflect its contribution, as well as the contribution of its clients, to the common good.

In 2026, the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) confirmed the ESG rating of Center-invest Bank at ESG-2 (AA+) with a stable outlook, which corresponds to the highest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance level among Russian banks.
