During the Forum, Alexander Dolganov, Ph.D. in Economics, Deputy Chairman of Center-invest Bank’s Management Board, took part in the session "Climate Agenda: From Dialogue to Joint Projects in the CIS, SCO and EAEU".
The International Economic Forum "New Impetus for the Development of the Greater Eurasian Partnership: Scientific, Technological and Innovative Cooperation" is a key business event of the Commonwealth countries, a discussion platform targeting key issues of interaction between the business and the state, taking modern trends in the development of the global and regional economy into account.
The main objective of the forum is substantive discussion of state support measures for business and science, development of trade relations, implementation of scientific and innovative, investment and infrastructure projects, increasing the engagement of science and economic entities in the Eurasian production, transport and logistical chains.
The forum was attended by heads of integrative associations of the CIS, EAEU, SCO, the Union State, Deputy Prime Ministers of the CIS countries, representatives of ministries, leading universities of the CIS countries, industry cooperation bodies, industry associations, banking communities, as well as business communities of the CIS member states.
Alexander Dolganov shared the expertise of Center-invest Bank in the field of assessing, calculating and reducing the carbon footprint of the loan portfolio intended for agricultural enterprises.
"Center-invest Bank is a signatory to the Principles of Responsible Business Conduct of the UN Environment Finance Initiative. Responsible financing helps address the food security challenges, taking into account climate risks and opportunities," Alexander Dolganov explained.
In 2024 Center-invest Bank joined the official Russian delegation to the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) which was held in Baku.
