Center-invest Bank received a letter of gratitude from the Bank of Russia for its active participation in the Online Financial Literacy Lessons for School Students project.
The goal of the Online Financial Literacy Lessons all-Russian programme is to promote responsible financial conduct of school students, brief them on current financial products and services, and alert them to risks.
Among the programme participants were students of secondary and general schools, vocational schools, and care homes for children without parental care.
Center-invest Bank employees conducted 29 live broadcasts, accumulating a total of over 196,000 views. The classes covered the key modules of the programme, from personal finance management to fraud protection and investment fundamentals. In total, the project covered 53.2% of schools and vocational educational organisations across the country, with the total number of views reaching 3.1 million.
For many years, Center-invest Bank has supported the Bank of Russia’s educational initiatives and implemented its own programmes to improve public financial literacy and awareness. The Financial Literacy Centre, a social and educational project of Center-invest Bank, was established in 2014 to provide free advice to the public. Since its launch, the FLC project has improved the financial literacy of more than 2 million people.
